Horticulture and Conservation Meeting

Annabel Greg from NY State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) is our speaker.  She is in charge of promoting this program which Governor Hochul announced in 2023.  The initiative encourages New Yorkers to plant trees and expand forests to improve the health of communities and mitigate the impacts of climate change.  Ms Greg will give us an update on progress as well as a peek into the toolkit of resources available to us all.

DEC has reserved a room at their facility in Raybrook for our use.  Bring a bag lunch and invite friends, neighbors and anyone likely to plant a tree to attend.
