Ausable River Association Seed Planting
9:30 to 11 AM
Carrianne Pershyn, fish and wildlife ecologist and Biodiversity Research Manager for ASRA will instruct us to plant native seeds to create buffer zones. Riparian buffer sites are important for stream health, wildlife diversity, and restoration of native grasses, plants, and trees.
The AGC Grant of September 2022 funded the purchase of native seeds for this project. This is our club’s annual civic ecology project, and all members are encouraged to participate.
