Zone III Page Dickey Book Discussion: Uprooted: A Gardener Reflects on Beginning Again

Page Dickey’s distinguished career spans over 30 years. An Honorary Member of the GCA since 2015, she is an esteemed gardener, garden designer and celebrated author of multiple books and articles on gardening. Her former garden of 34 years at Duck Hill in North Salem, New York, was nationally known and has been featured in many publications. In their seventies, she and her husband sold Duck Hill and moved to Northwestern Connecticut – the subject of her latest book and the topic of her lecture, Uprooted: A Gardener Reflects on Beginning Again (Timber Press, September 2020; also available on Audible).

Ms. Dickey has received awards from the Garden Writers Association of America, Quill and Travel, and the American Horticultural Society. The GCA website notes “Ms. Dickey’s passion for gardening and her important contributions at large dovetail perfectly with the goals set out by The Garden Club of America.”
