AGC Public Event - Plastic: The Trash That Won't Go Away

Please join us for a presentation and strategy session with Judith Enck, Former EPA Regional Administrator and Senior Fellow in the Center for the Advancement of Public Action, Bennington College, and founder of Beyond Plastics. Eight tons of plastic enter the ocean every year and single use plastic pollution is a climate change problem. You’ll learn:

  • How is plastic pollution is a climate change problem?

  • What can be done right here in the Adirondacks?

This meeting has been developed by the AGC Conservation Committee and is open to the public. This is a joint program with the Adirondack Garden Club and The Garden Club of Lake Placid. Representatives from Adirondack environmental organizations, local governments, and garden clubs will be invited along with members of the community.
