Bloom Again Bklyn will discuss their process of taking unsold or once-used flowers and refurbishing them into new arrangements that are distributed throughout the community. Bloom Again Bklyn's mission is to "break isolation and depression through flowers and floral materials and nature”

Caroline will be accompanied by Veronica Kaninska who teaches recreation education at St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn. Veronica had been the head of recreation therapy for the Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation(CNR) in Crown Heights Brooklyn which has been a nursing home partner with BloomAgainBklyn. Veronica will talk about the impact that flowers and floral therapy have on seniors.
